Monkey King: Sun Wukong, a bull demon and a golden headband on nine lines

The golden headband is the symbol that turns up most in these screenshots, and it's the one Sun Wukong wore to keep him in line. In Monkey King it's a low payer: 40 for five, 10 for four, 3 for three. It still did the work on the one winning spin I have.

The layout is a 5x3 grid with a mountain and waterfall on either side. On the reels you get the Monkey King himself, a horned bull demon in armour, two women characters (one with dark hair, one with white), a green gourd with a leaf pattern, a red gourd, the golden headband and a bundle of bamboo scrolls. Numbered tabs on both sides mark the nine lines. Unlike most Play8oy games there's no GRAND or MAJOR strip here, just SCORE and the three buttons. The bet panel reads LINES 9, PLAY 10, TOTAL PLAY 90.

Three headbands line up across the first three reels and the banner says 30. That's the paytable's 3 multiplied by the PLAY value of 10. A red BONUS tile is sitting on reel four in the same shot.

What the Monkey King paytable shows

The rules line at the top says wins are paid "separately from left to right and right to left", but only once if all five on the line are the same. Monkey King pays 1000, 200 and 50 for five, four and three. The bull demon is 400, 80 and 20, the dark-haired woman 200, 40 and 15, the white-haired one 160, 30 and 10. The green gourd, red gourd, headband and scrolls fill out the bottom.

The ALL SAME row is the headline number: 5000 if the whole screen is Monkey King, 2500 for the bull demon, and 50 even for the scrolls. The General WILD Symbol replaces everything except BONUS. A small diagram next to it shows two wilds on the second and fourth reels, an arrow, and then a golden bar running across the row. There's no text explaining it, so I won't guess.

The old page described a light that runs through 26 spots, banker and player bets and a "Battle Mode" with double reels. None of that is on these screens.
