The old Star996 page was one football banner and a pile of contact links. Here is the little that holds up, and the questions worth asking before you top up.
The only picture on the old Star996 page was a football banner: four players mid-shout in club shirts under a gold STAR 996 logo. No lobby, no bet slip, no game screen. I have left it out, because those are real, recognisable players and club badges.
What is left is a short description. Star996 was listed as a sports betting platform that also has casino tables, casual games, poker and bingo rooms. Like the other apps in this guide, you do not sign up inside it. An agent creates an ID for you, and top-ups and withdrawals (the "cuci") go through that agent in ringgit.
The old page also said the sportsbook and the casino each held licences from named regulators. I found nothing to confirm that, so take it as unverified.
