There is nothing to install for Star996. It was a web platform: you opened the site, logged in with the username and password your provider gave you, tapped Agree on a terms page, and landed in a menu with slots, table games and sports.

That's worth saying plainly because people still search for a "Star996 APK". The old page never offered one. If someone sends you an app with that name, treat it like any unknown file: don't install it just because the logo looks right.

Why browser-only is a mixed bag

No certificate to trust, no "install unknown apps" switch to flip, nothing sitting on your phone with permissions. That's the good part.

The bad part is that the address bar is now your only proof you're on the real site. Lookalike domains are cheap. Bookmark the address your provider gives you and use the bookmark, not a search result. Never type a bank TAC into any page that popped up from the game.

What the games looked like

The slots are old-school. Hot Target has a plain maroon frame, fruit and BAR symbols, a flaming bullseye, a red star and a jester, with numbered payline tabs down both sides. The strip underneath reads Credit 2000.00, Lines 9, Bet/Line 0.02, Bet 0.18, then Paytable, Gamble, Start, and an Autoplay button on the right.

Gorilla, Just Jewels and Beetle Mania use the same bottom bar and the "Please place your bet" message.
