Fong Shen: bagua wilds, five element coins and an ink scroll gamble
A 9-line 3Win8 slot built on the Fong Shen legend. The bagua is the wild, lines pay from either end, and wins can go into a scroll double-up marked x2 to x5.
Two stone guardian statues flank the reels in Fong Shen, one gripping a hammer, and above them sit five round coins marked 土, 火, 水, 木 and 金: earth, fire, water, wood and metal. The game is named after the Fengshen (Investiture of the Gods) legend, and the symbols are its heroes and beasts.
The high symbols are character portraits in round frames: a white-bearded elder with a red face, a woman with a white feathered headdress, a young swordsman with a mark on his forehead, and a red-haired girl. The lower ones are drawn on plain white tiles: a blue dragon, a burst of phoenix flame, a white crane and a blue beast. No card letters at all, which I like.

The elder pays 1000, 200 and 50 for five, four and three. The feathered woman pays 400, 80 and 20, the swordsman 200, 40 and 15, the red-haired girl 160, 30 and 10. Then dragon 100, phoenix 60, crane 40 and the blue beast 20.
The wild is the golden bagua octagon with a yin-yang in the middle. It substitutes for everything except five coloured element coins. The rule on the left says line wins must start from "the far left reel or the far right reel", so lines pay both ways. This is page 1 of 6, and I didn't get the other five, so whatever the element coins do is still a blank.
Winning and doubling
On a win the rest of the board turns grey and the paying tiles switch to animated art. Here a wild and two character tiles on the right end of the bottom row paid 0.20 at RM0.01 a line, a right-to-left win. The AUTO button changes to DOUBLE.
Press DOUBLE and you get this: the 0.20 becomes the bet, a scroll of ink-brush characters rolls past, and four portraits above it are marked x2, x3, x4 and x5. I never saw where it stopped, so I don't know the odds. Treat it as a gamble with your win.

What are the five coins above the Fong Shen reels?
They're the five elements: earth, fire, water, wood and metal (土, 火, 水, 木, 金). The same coins land on the reels and the wild can't replace them, so they likely drive a feature, but that's on paytable pages 2 to 6, which aren't in these screenshots.
How does the Fong Shen double-up work?
After a win the button reads DOUBLE. In the screenshot, a 0.20 win became the BET on a scroll screen with ink drawings of characters and four portraits marked x2, x3, x4 and x5, with a STOP button. I didn't see how it resolved, so I can't say exactly how the multiplier is chosen.
