Green Light: pick a car, and the finish decides your free games
A 20-line racing slot on 3Win8. Scattered lights turn red or green, and three green ones send you to a five-car race that decides your free games.
The scatter in Green Light is a small traffic light, and the paytable says something I haven't seen on many other slots: when two or more land, each one turns either red or green, and only the green ones count. Scatter prizes are "paid for 2 or more Green Lights only".
The theme is motor racing. A black and white chequered flag waves behind the reels, the card letters are painted in chequered colours, and the picture symbols are a smiling driver in a laurel wreath, a blonde race queen with a sash, a blue rally car with an Australian flag, a gold trophy car and a bottle of champagne. Three counters sit on top: MINOR, RANDOM JACKPOT and MAJOR.
The race feature
The left side of the paytable explains the bonus. Three or more green lights start the racing feature. You choose one of five cars, the cars are revealed and then they race. Finish 1st and you get 25 free games, 2nd gets 20, then 15, 10 and 5. If your car comes 1st or 2nd there's a second race, which pays 100, 50, 25, 10 or 5 times the triggering bet by place. Prizes are doubled in the free games, and the feature can retrigger.
The driver is the wild: 10000 for five, 2000 for four, 200 for three and 10 for two. He substitutes for everything except the lights and doubles any win he's part of, which is why each symbol has a WITH SUBSTITUTE column. The rally car pays 2500 for five (5000 with the driver), the race queen 1000, the trophy and champagne 500.
In this spin only 5 lines were on at RM0.04 each, RM0.20 total. Two champagne bottles on line 4 paid 0.08, which matches the "2 of a kind pays 2" line on the paytable.
