The old prospector steals the show. Red hat, big white moustache, blue dungarees, pickaxe over one shoulder and a gold nugget in his hand. He pops up on the reels as a round portrait and then stands next to every bonus message like he's personally handing you the prize.

The rest of the game is a mine shaft with wooden beams, cogs in the bottom corner and little gold lamps on the frame. The symbols are gemstones (green, pale blue, white and red crystals), lumps of gold, brown rocks, a miner's hard hat with a lamp, and a pickaxe. No card letters at all, which is a nice change.

In the base game, rocks and nuggets carry the small stuff. That one was 10 on a total bet of 20.
