Great Stars: pagoda scatters, a laughing monk wild and a dice gamble

Read the jackpot rules before you play this one, because they decide how much you should be betting.

The table is blunt. Max bet puts all three jackpots in play: GRAND, MEGA and GAME. Play all 15 lines and you are down to MEGA or GAME. Anything less and only the GAME jackpot is possible. Underneath it says the jackpot can only happen during free spins, when the jackpot symbol lands on reels 1, 2 and 3. So a cheap single-line spin can never reach the Grand box, which read 10939.09 in my screenshot.

That is worth knowing if you are topping up RM50 and hoping for the big number. You probably won't be betting max.

Symbols and free spins

The WILD is a laughing, round-bellied monk and covers everything except the scatter. The scatter is a tall pagoda: five pay 50, four 10, three 5, and three or more also start free spins. Regular symbols include peaches, a lotus, a golden fish ornament and a brush, then the card letters.

Free spins come in at 5 up to 20, and before they start you pick one of five golden nuggets for a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5 or x6. The screen says more free spins can be retriggered indefinitely.

The dice gamble

After a win you can take the GAMBLE GAME button. You guess whether the next dice total is big or small for double, or pick a suit type for six times. Four levels at most. I'd skip it most of the time.
