Chu Shen (God's Kitchen): roast duck, 20 lines and a basket of bao

Somebody at the studio clearly got hungry. The mid-value symbols on Chu Shen are a claypot, a plate of lobster and a whole roast duck, and even the card letters carry a ginger root, a spatula or a red onion.

The title up top is 厨神 with "God's Kitchen" underneath. It's a 20-line game: the capture shows Line 20, Bet 1, denomination 0.01, total bet 0.20.

Reading the menu

The chef himself is the wild. Five of him pay 10000, four 2000, three 200, and he still pays 10 on just two. He covers everything except the scatter and the bonus trophy.

The golden cloche is the scatter: 500, 50, 5 and 2 for five down to two. Below that, the claypot pays 500 for five, the lobster 400, the roast duck 200, then a red character symbol and the card letters from 150 down to 50.

Three cloches anywhere give 10 free games. Wins are tripled, except anything from the Chef's Bonus, and another three cloches during the round add 10 more. The page says there's no cap on retriggers.

The Chef's Bonus is the fun bit. Three or more trophies in a row on an active payline, starting from reel 1, send you to a table where the chef has left six bao. Three trophies, you open three. Five trophies, you open five. Each bun hides a cash prize.

Because the trophies have to sit on a payline you've actually bet on, cutting lines to save money also cuts your chances at the bao. Worth knowing before you drop to one line.
