Lucky Cups: three porcelain cups and one hidden coin
A shell game with three blue-and-white cups. Pick a cup, the payout is 1:1.9, and that's the whole game.
Three cups on a bamboo mat, an old coin under one of them. You've seen this on the street. This version just pays out on a screen.
Each cup is white porcelain with a blue dragon, and above each one is the same payout: 1 : 1.9. Below the cups are three bet spots, green, red and blue, each stamped with the Chinese character for gamble and "BET NOW" above it. Pick a chip along the bottom (1, 5, 10, 50 or 100), tap a spot, and wait.
The little panel on the right lists MIN 1 and MAX 250, plus your current BET and WIN. The one on the left is a HISTORY grid that fills in as you play.
In this round I had 2 on the red spot, the middle cup came up with the coin, and the win box showed 5.8. That's the 2 stake back plus 2 x 1.9. Tap NEW GAME to go again.
There's not much to add. One chance in three on each cup, and a hit returns 2.9 times your stake, a little under the three times that would make it an even game. It's quick, so it's easy to overdo; decide how many rounds before you start.
