Five Dragons and its per-reel betting

"Playing 5 reels at 25 x 1 credits per reel." That line of small yellow text above the reels is the most useful thing on the Five Dragons screen, because there are no paylines to count. Instead of LINES you get two dark panels either side of the reels labelled REEL POWER, and the bet is per reel.

The bet panel is all round bronze buttons. Minus and plus change the BET (25 in every shot here), then comes a button labelled 5 REELS + EXTRA, then AUTO SPIN, then SPIN, which turns red and says STOP while the reels turn. The extra part seems to be an added stake on top of the base bet. The game does not spell out on this screen what it buys you, so check the help page before pressing it.

The symbols are gold on dark red: a koi, a turtle, a foo dog, a winged phoenix-like bird, a red envelope with 福, and card symbols from 9 to A with little crowns and tokens on them. A dark green-and-silver tile shows up on the middle reels now and then.

Above the frame there are three plain counters with no boxes: MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR. RANDOM sat around 1.12 million credits, MAJOR between 51,573 and 216,701, MINOR between 9,064 and 52,263. Those are credits, not ringgit.

After one spin the bar said "Combination pays 30", the WIN box read 80 and a round GAMBLE button popped up on the bottom right of the reels. I would ignore it; a double-up bet is the quickest way to lose a win you already have.
