Pokemon on Mega888 is a betting board, not a slot

The name is the first problem. This Mega888 game borrows the Pokemon characters and calls itself 宠物小精灵, Pocket Monster, with no sign anywhere that it's licensed. I haven't included screenshots because every one of them is wall-to-wall trademarked characters. Here's what's on them instead.

How a round plays

It plays like Monkey Story. A ring of small portrait tiles runs round the edge of a forest clearing. In the lower half is the betting grid: four characters, each with three boxes and its own multiplier. In my screenshot the yellow electric mouse paid x31, x35 or x40, the orange fire lizard x15 to x20, the blue turtle x8 to x11 and the green seed creature x5 to x7. Down the right side are BANK x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2.

You pick a chip size (x50 or x100 in my shots), tap the boxes you want, and press START. CLEAR wipes your layout, REBET repeats the last one, and LAST RESULT shows the history. BAL, BET and WIN run along the bottom.

Once betting closes the grid disappears. A frame in the upper left shows a black silhouette, like the old "who's that" bit from the cartoon, and the ring lights up tile by tile until it stops. Then the silhouette fills in with the winner, and a tag in the upper right reads PLAYER, BANK or TIE.

There's also a JACKPOT counter above the frame. Across my ten screenshots it moved between about 46,000 and 417,000, so it's clearly shared and resets when someone hits it. What triggers it isn't shown.

The high multipliers look generous, but they sit on the least likely outcome. Small chips, short sessions. This is for 18+ only, and online gambling is restricted in Malaysia; read our responsible gaming notes before you play.
