Live tables: the lobby, the chat box and ONE Blackjack

The chat window on the right of a live table fills up faster than you would expect. People greet the dealer, ask for luck, grumble about the last hand. The dealer reads some of it out and answers. That is the main thing live games add over a card game on an app: an actual person running the table on camera, in real time.

How the lobby is sorted

The live lobby in the old screenshots is a grid of tiles, each with a photo of a host, so I have left that picture out. The labels are the useful part: Roulette, Dragon Tiger, Game Shows, Live Casino, Blackjack Lobby, Baccarat, Roulette Lobby, Mega Sic Bo, Mega Wheel, a Sic Bo and Dragon Tiger tile, and a couple of tiles with an x500 badge for the multiplier games. A small round logo in the corner of each tile suggests they all come from Pragmatic Play's live studio.

"Lobby" tiles open a list of tables of that type. Single tiles drop you straight at one table. If you want blackjack at a specific limit, go through Blackjack Lobby rather than the first blackjack tile you see.

Sitting at ONE Blackjack

ONE Blackjack is a single shared hand: everyone at the table plays the same two starting cards and makes their own decisions from there, so there is no waiting for a seat. The screen is dark purple. The gold ONE BLACKJACK logo glows on the wall behind the dealer, who wears a white shirt, black waistcoat and bow tie. There is a card holder on each side of the table, and two lines of table rules are printed on the felt in faint gold, too small to read in this capture.

In the screenshot the banner across the middle reads WAIT FOR NEXT GAME, with the player's cards at the bottom and a row of round betting buttons under them. The very bottom left shows the balance in RM, bottom right the total bet. Top left is the table name with its RM limits; top right a row of small icons and, below them, the CHAT panel.

Hit, stand and double are your calls here, but the maths of blackjack still favours the house over time, whatever you decide.

Two practical points. Video streams need a steady connection; on mobile data a freeze in the middle of a decision can cost you the default action. And the chat is public, so never type your game ID, phone number or bank details there.
