Look at the far-right column of the paytable. The crossed weapons pay 5000 for five, 500 for four, 100 for three, 10 for two and 2 for one. One. A single symbol on reel 1 of a live line counts as a win.

It's not a big win, obviously. On a 0.01 line bet it's 0.02. But it means that symbol turns up in the win box a lot more than you'd expect, which is exactly what the next capture shows.

Everything else is plain. Nine and ten pay 100 for five, J and Q 200, K 300, A 500. The ship's wheel and the anchor both pay 1000, the treasure map 2500. The wheel, anchor and map also pay on two of a kind (3, 3 and 5). The captain in his hat is wild, and the open chest full of gold is the scatter at 100, 10, 5 or 1 times.

The one paytable page I have shows no free spins, and the old write-up's talk of a progressive jackpot and side bet doesn't match what's on screen either. What you get is 9 lines, a denomination box (0.01 here), and the Hold for Autoplay dial. Total bet on the main screen was 0.09.
