5 Koi Legends: gold koi wilds and lucky-character coins

Deep blue reels, a gold frame, and a lotus leaf peeking in at the bottom right. 5 Koi Legends is calmer to look at than its siblings, and I find it the easiest of the three on the eyes for a long session.

If you've played 5 Dragons or Choy Sun Doa, you already know how this one works. It's the same 243-ways engine with a different coat of paint. Here the picture symbols are round coins, each with one character and an English label: 財 Wealth in blue, 吉 Lucky in red, 福 Good Luck in pink and 祿 Prosperity in green. There is also a red square with lucky dice, and a gold coin on red that I read as the Scatter.

The gold koi in a green frame is the Wild. It only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, and in the captures it always sits somewhere in that middle band. In the spin above a single koi plus two red Lucky coins paid 3.00 GP.

The FEATURE panel on the paytable gives the usual choice of 25, 20, 15, 13 or 10 free games, with the multipliers climbing as the spin count drops. A note underneath says the Koi Feature replaces the normal wild in the free games. The text is too small in our capture to read every multiplier, so check the "i" screen in your own app.
