918Kiss Baccarat: the table, the side bets, the tie

The 918Kiss baccarat table read box by box: Player, Banker, pair bets, Big and Small, and what happens on a 9-9 tie.

Look at the middle of the table first. There's a sign reading THE 9 FOR 1, and under it a small grid of six side bets: Player Pair 11:1, Big 0.54:1, Banker Pair 11:1, Perfect Pair 25:1, Small 1.5:1 and Either Pair 5:1. Those are the bets that eat a balance fastest, so it's worth knowing what they are before a stray tap puts a chip there.

The main bets are the two big boxes either side, PLAYER in blue on the left and BANKER in red on the right, each with its Chinese character above. A little sign top-left gives the table limits: MIN 1, MAX 1000.

Chips run along the curved bottom rail: 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000. Tap a chip, tap a box. Once your chip is down, two round buttons pop up, Deal and Clear bets. On the right edge a small scoreboard labelled History keeps coloured dots for past hands, and your CURRENT BALANCE is in the bottom-left corner (47.03 in both shots).

The hero screenshot is a nice example of the tie. Player has an 8 and an Ace, Banker has a King and a 9, both totals are shown as 9, and the gold characters for "tie" appear in the middle. The 1 on Player stays on the table marked PUSH 1, and a New Game button replaces Deal.

Big and Small here are probably about how many cards get dealt in the hand, which is how they work on most Asian baccarat tables, but the screen doesn't say so. Open the menu and read the help before you touch them.

What happens to my bet on a tie?

In the screenshot the Player bet of 1 sits on the table marked PUSH 1 after a 9-9 tie, so it looks like your Player or Banker bet is returned. Check the help screen, because tie rules differ between tables.

Is this a live dealer game?
